Friends Morning Coffee Lecture: Robin Frith

The QVMAG Friends present the the first of the 2018 Morning Coffee Lecture Series. 

Robin Frith will present on the Tamar Lake Project. 

Robin was born and educated in Tasmania, graduating in electrical engineering, before joining one of the major computer companies in the USA in 1964 during the formative stages of the information technology industry.

After seven years in the USA with global marketing responsibilities, during which time he carried out post graduate studies in marketing and strategic planning at Columbia Business School, he returned to Sydney to establish and develop the subsidiaries of two mainstream computer companies as their CEO: the US-headquartered Digital Equipment Corporation and the Japanese giant NEC.

After 25 years in the corporate sector, strategic planning assignments in Australia, Ireland, Japan and the USA over a 20-year period rounded out his career until retirement, with a return to Tasmania in 2005. 

He held the office of the President of Tamar Lake Inc. from its formation in 2010, handing over to Sam Tucker in 2017.
