The Museum has a variety of spaces available for hire for conferences, meetings and special events at the Inveresk site. Situated in Launceston's new cultural precinct, the QVMAG at Inveresk is a vital part of the exciting redevelopment of the former Launceston Railway Workshops. This world-class venue is only 10 mins walk from the CBD and 5 mins walk from City Park. There is extensive pay and display parking on site.

Rio Tinto Aluminium (Bell Bay) Limited and the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery are working together to create Phenomena Factory—an exciting new interactive science centre to be launched at Inveresk in April 2008.

The installation will be located in the former reception and café space at the Inveresk site.

Phenomena Factory will be available for unique cocktail/stand-up events.
