Zoological Project Localities

On these pages we have compiled locality data from major zoological field studies carried out in Tasmania since the early 1970s. Each locality is assigned a UTM grid reference and a latitude/longitude, and wherever possible we indicate the precision of our locating. If you would like to add another study to this website, or would like to recommend one for addition, please email Bob Mesibov.
 
To convert UTM grid references to lat/long and vice versa, we used GeoCalc version 4.2 (GeoComp Systems, Blackburn, Victoria) with appropriate settings.
