ABRS 1974-75 Funded by the Australian Biological Resources Study, this project aimed to document changes in the soil and litter fauna of wet forest following major disturbance. Five Eucalyptus obliqua sites in the Northwest were chosen to form a 'chronosequence' of fire-regenerated forest patches, with sites in the Northeast and Southeast sampled for comparative purposes. The investigators were John Hickman, John Madden, Lionel Hill and Alastair Richardson from the University of Tasmania, and the bulk of the collection was deposited in the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. | ||||
