Maggs Mountain 1974-90 This Queen Victoria Museum project was planned and carried out by the former Curator of Zoology, R.H. (Bob) Green. The aim was to document fauna changes associated with clearfall logging in the upper Mersey River catchment. Results for vertebrates were reported in Green (1977, 1982). A large number of invertebrates were pitfall-trapped and beaten from foliage during repeated visits to Maggs Mountain over a 17-year period. The partly sorted invertebrate collection is held at the Queen Victoria Museum.
