Locality. Mt Field National Park, 9 km NNE of Maydena, Tas.

Other data. Station 105, "upper zone of temperate rainforest (Nothofagus, Eucalyptus, Dicksonia) along nature track, very wet soil, under logs" (Jeekel 1981: 15).

Paratypes. In ZMA: 1 juvenile, details as for holotype; 2 juveniles, Mt Field National Park, 12 km ENE of Maydena, Tas (station 107), same collectors and date, "temperate rainforest with ferntrees along creek, under logs and litter" (Jeekel 1981: 16).
Other records. Widespread and common in eastern Tas (QVMAG specimens).
