Types. Syntypes, labeled 'type', in NHRM (Dennis Black, pers. comm.).
Male syntype, ZMB, ZMB 6156 (Moritz & Fischer 1973: 374).
Locality. Colosseum, Qld.
Collector, date. Collected during Dr E. Mjöberg's Australia expeditions, 1910-1913.
Notes. Specimens collected at 'Evelyne' [Evelyn] and Tolga, Qld, by the Mjöberg expedition were only tentatively referred to R. nasuta by Verhoeff (1924: 127).
Jeekel (2001a: 52) says 'With regard to the Australian species my guess is that each of them deserves a separate generic status. Unfortunately the published drawings of the gonopods are too much reduced to allow any conclusions. The status of S. nasuta and S. nodulosa has to be reassessed.'
