Syntypes. 'Several specimens from the Upper Richmond River, New South Wales, have been examined' (Verhoeff 1928: 86).
Collector, date. Upper Richmond River, R. Helms, April 1890 (AM specimen label).
Deposited. AM, KS76521; this sample is labelled 'paralectotypes, 3 females, det. P.M. Johns. The lectotype should be the figured male but it's whereabouts is unknown' (G. Milledge, AM, pers. comm.)

Collector, date. It is not yet known whether [Johann] Krefft was the collector or only the supplier of the ZMB specimen. Krefft was Assistant Curator of the Australian Museum in Sydney from 1860-1864 and Curator from 1864-1876.
