CIM

The Centre Internationale de Myriapodologie (CIM) is an international scientific society whose mission is to promote and maintain communication between myriapodologists around the world. Established in 1968, the CIM is based at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. Each year the CIM produces a Bulletin with a bibliography of myriapodological papers published and in press, a list of myriapodologists and their contact details, and a register of research interests. The CIM also co-organises international congresses of myriapodology every three years. Just about every specialist who works on centipedes, millipedes, Symphyla, Pauropoda or velvet worms is a member of the CIM, and the CIM website is a good place to find out who's doing what.
