Species distributions

To use this species mapper, your browser must have a Flash player plug-in and Javascript enabled. First choose genus, then species, then click the Plot localities button. Large data files may take a little time to load, so please be patient (the base map is 175 kb).
 
You can zoom in a little on the map. Click your mouse cursor over the map, then use the Z key on your keyboard to zoom in, the A key to zoom out, and the arrow keys to pan around the zoomed-in view. You can also zoom in and out using the scroll on a scroll mouse.
 
Only confirmed identifications of named species are plotted here. For distributions of undescribed species and uncertain identifications (e.g., females and juveniles of certain millipedes), see the maps on the species pages on this website.
