Protozoa 

Sarcocystis murinotechis   Munday & Mason, 1980: 86.  Holotype.

Status:  Mounted on slide.
Current number:  QVM 22:199.
Previous numbers:  Type number 361, 1979:22:0001.
Published data:  See Remarks.
Remarks:  Parasite cysts were collected from the intestines of three tiger snakes (Notechis ater) and given orally to Rattus norvegicus. Sarcocysts were recovered from the rats and 'Slides of natural and experimental infections in rats' (Munday & Mason 1980: 86) were deposited in QVMAG. It is not clear where and when the tiger snakes were collected. The slide label says B.L. Munday, 1977 to 1978.


Flatworms 

Arthurdendyus vegrandis   Winsor & Stevens, 2005: 20.  Holotype.

Status:  In alcohol, with sections mounted on 50 slides.
Current number:  QVM 19:3961.

Brachiopods 

Kraussia atkinsoni   Tenison-Woods, 1878: 57.  Holotype.

Status:  Five dry shells.
Current number:  QVM 24:428.
Previous numbers:  Type number 110, 1971:9:0008.
Published data:  Long Bay, [D'Entrecasteaux Channel] Tasmania, H.D. Atkinson (no date).
Remarks:  Database has: Long Bay, D'Entrecasteaux Channel, dredged from 10 fathoms, M.D. Atkinson, 1877.


Leeches 

Priscabdella hickmani   Richardson, 1973: 3.  Holotype.

Status:  In alcohol (body), mounted on slide (ventrolateral jaws).
Current number:  QVM 14:531.
Previous numbers:  Type number 190, 1972:14:0003.
Published data:  Memana, Flinders Island, Tasmania, 24 March 1966, R.H. Green.
Remarks:  Both the wet specimen and the slide mount have the same registration numbers. Both Green (1974) and an old QVM register give the collection date as 14 March 1966.
