Alexia harrisoni   Beddome, 1883: 169.  Probable syntypes.

Status:  2 dry shells.
Current number:   QVM 9:5825.
Published data:  Tasmania. 'Habt., boulder beaches near mouth of freshwater creeks on banks of Derwent River. This species was first found by Mr. Charles Harrison; I have much pleasure in dedicating it to him.' (Beddome 1883: 169)
Remarks:  Regarded as syntypes because they are from Beddome and because the types of this species have not been found anywhere else.

Remarks:  Green (1974: 13) says 'between Greens Beach and Kelso' and gives 30 October 1965 as the collection date for 1965:9:0003, which agrees with the specimen label. Burn (1966: 342) gives 11 September 1965 for the holotype collection.

Remarks:  QVM 9:105 is a dorsal valve; label says 'N Tasmania'. QVM 9:106 is a pair of valves, labeled 'Pecten undulatus Sow'.
