Launceston
Launceston is one of Australia's oldest cities and has some of the country's best-preserved architectural heritage and natural wonders.
The city's streets are lined with Georgian and Victorian buildings and leafy pockets while the snaking Tamar River leads to a sprawling Valley of vineyards beyond. Popular Launceston attractions include the Cataract Gorge Reserve (pictured), City Park, Seaport Precinct and Princes Square.
