The First Tasmanians: Our Story

QVMAG volunteer guides provide free tours of the Museum and Art Gallery. 

The Art Gallery tour showcases our unique collection of Colonial Art on display that is of national historic significance. Meet your guide at the information desk - bookings not required.

The Museum tour focuses on the historical significance of the site to Launceston as a Railway Workshop and changes that occurred during the Second World War. Meet your guide at the information desk in the Museum foyer - bookings not required.

Walking through Launceston to arrive at the Art Gallery Royal Park by about noon.

QVMAG provides a number of guided tours for groups that can be booked for a $10 booking fee plus an additional $6 per person. Tours available:
