Feathers, Fur & Scales

Students will discover the body features of different animals as the compare and contrast different taxidermied animals.

Students will use this knowledge of animal features to sort animals into basic groups.

Prep Science:

  • Identify the basic needs of plants and animals, including air, water, food or shelter, and describe how the places they live meet those needs (AC9S10U1).

  • Sort and order data and information and represent patterns, including with provided tables and visual or physical models (AC9S1I04).
