Gone, but not forgotten

Students will examine the theme of loss and commemoration as it applies to them. They can use the associated emotions to empathise with other works that signify these emotive responses. Artist, Vicki West, will discuss her artistic intentions for some of her own internationally acclaimed work and inspire the students to represent their stories in individual artwork.

Students will use natural materials to create and mould their own contemporary pieces that represent their intentions.
