QVMAG School Holiday programs are available for children aged 5 to 12 years and run according to the Tasmanian School Holiday schedule. To book, complete the Booking Form and email our Bookings Team. Payment is required at time of booking and is non-refundable.

Tuesday 14 January: Secret life of birds
Discover the secret life of birds' nest and eggs, including making your own nest to take home. 

Wednesday 15 January: Space explorers
Blast into space with a planetarium show then make moon rovers, space landers and more. 

Thursday 16 January: Olden day toys
Discover the toys in our museum and make your own 'olden day' toys to take home. 

Tuesday 21 January: Working with nature
Create art or jewellery from cultural resources. 

Wednesday 22 January: Junk Sculpture
Release your inner artist and create your own Junk Sculpture. 

Wednesday 29 January: Water bugs and insects
Explore the incredible world of water bugs and make your own insect to take home.

To book, please download booking form(PDF, 338KB) and email your completed form to bookings@qvmag.tas.gov.au or post/deliver to: Bookings Officer, Queen Victoria Museum @ Invermay Road, Launceston, 7248. Payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Please note - no bookings will be processed between Christmas Day and New Years' Day (inclusive). 

Children need to bring their own drink and food (no nuts please) for the snack break.  

Participants must be dropped off and signed in no more than ten minutes before the session begins. They must be collected within ten minutes of the session end.
