Minds Do Matter explores the relationship between art and wellbeing by celebrating art’s power to be life-enhancing and life-affirming.

In 2021 Minds Do Matter focuses on the theme ‘connect’. Participating artists chose to address this in a diverse range of ways.

Minds Do Matter provides a creative platform which allows participants and audiences alike to contribute to vital conversations about mental health and well being.

This builds mental health literacy and contributes to the de-stigmatisation of mental illness by promoting the notion that mental health is about everyone. This is of particular importance when COVID-19 has had a significant impact on community mental health at large.

We hope you enjoy discovering each individual interpretation as you look at the artworks and their accompanying statements.

Delivered in partnership with RANT Arts.
