How did our beautiful island come to be?

Join palaeoecologist Dr Penny Jones, artist Dr Amy Jackett, and musicians Yyan Ng, Emily Sheppard and Georgia Shine for a spectacular journey through deep time: from our island’s birth, over a billion years ago, to the mountain-crushing ice age that brought the arrival of the First People.

Surrounded by the art of Tony Smibert in Tao Sublime, guests will be immersed in the soundscape of deep time while surrounded by awe-inspiring acrylic works depicting the rugged landscapes of our island.
