On display at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery, Royal Park from 16 December to 15 April 2018
This year's ArtRage is a unique and inspiring snapshot into the creative minds of talented Tasmanian students at the height of their art making abilities.
This exhibition represents more than 100 individual works from students from 22 schools and colleges around the state studying pre-tertiary visual arts.
Artists have used many mediums and processes from analogue photography and tradition printmaking techniques to sculpture, video animation and 3D printing technology. The result is an array of beautiful, challenging and mature work that reflects the last important years of secondary education.
Acclaimed Hobart-based artist, Jamin opened the exhibition on 16 December 2017 . He commended the artists on achieving a strong sense of depth in their works, and encouraged each to persevere and be brave with their art practice.
