Festival of Voices 2026: Pop-up Choirs

Celebrating the transformative power of singing, Festival of Voices is an annual winter festival held in venues across Tasmania.

The premier singing festival in Australia, Festival of Voices is a linchpin in Tasmania’s winter season. Recognised nationally by choirs, musicians and audiences as the leading destination, and most inclusive celebration of vocal excellence. Everyone can participate in Festival of Voices, from curious beginners to seasoned professionals.

The Pop-up Program takes Festival of Voices beyond the stage and into the heart of Tasmania, bringing live music to streets, markets, cafés, galleries and public spaces across the state.

With over 260 free performances at more than 70 venues in 2026, it’s a chance to experience the Festival wherever you are; with no tickets needed, it’s a unique opportunity to share music in all kinds of spaces.

QVMAG will be hosting a range of performances over 3 days of the festival. No bookings are required – simply drop in and enjoy.
