Discover why we have different seasons and get crafty making a cloud identifier in this interactive workshop.


Explore science and creativity in this fun session at the Museum at inveresk.

We'll begin with a special presentation in the Planetarium to learn why we experience changing seasons - and why Tassie winters are so cold and dark! We'll head into the Learning Centre for some hands-on craft fun: making a cloud identifier to take home and continue the fun and learning.

Please note: This workshop is recommended for children aged 8-12 years, accompanied by their parents.


PLEASE NOTE:

  • Bookings are required for all attendees. Children must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.
  • This activity will be held at the Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road.
  • All tickets are $6pp and includes entry into the Planetarium.
  • All materials provided.
  • Recommended age 8-12 years old.
  • Please feel free to bring a water bottle to the session.
  • This is a supervised activity and not a drop-off activity. Parents/guardians are expected to remain present for the duration of the event — and are encouraged to help and join in the fun.
