An Indefatigable Bicycling Enthusiast with Malcolm Cowan

Malcolm Cowan has lived and worked in northern Tasmania for over 40 years in both the public and private sectors. With his wife Vicky, they were among original pioneers of Launceston's Harvest Market.

Since retiring in his late 50s, Malcolm has become an enthusiastic exponent of bicycle touring, both here and abroad. For the last 17 years, he and Vicky have been riding bikes for recreation, commuting and touring. They were foundation members of the Tamar Bicycle Users Group for people of all ages.

Malcolm, is an indefatigable enthusiast for all the benefits and joys of the bicycle and will be giving a fascinating talk of his exploits on two wheels.
