A free creative and social workshop at the Museum at Inveresk, celebrating memories, storytelling, and sculpture.

Celebrate Seniors Week 2025 with a hands-on creative workshop at QVMAG, inspired by the evocative bronze "boat" sculptures of artist David Hamilton.

In this relaxed and welcoming session, you'll explore the Fragments and Artefacts exhibition for inspiration, then head to the Learning Centre to create your own Story Vessel sculpture—a personal artwork that carries a memory or story from your own life. Choose from clay, wire, and papier-mâché materials to shape your unique piece.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is a great way to connect with like-minded locals, share stories, and explore your creativity in a supportive environment.

This event is part of Seniors Week celebrations at QVMAG - find out more about our full program at www.qvmag.tas.gov.au/Seniors-Week-2025.
