Discover the fascinating habitats of bugs and create your own miniature bug world to take home in this hands-on, creative holiday workshop.

Explore the wild and wonderful places where bugs live, then use your imagination to create a miniature bug habitat of your own.

Get ready to explore the hidden worlds of some of our smallest creatures. In this hands-on workshop we will discover the many different habitats where bugs live-from forests and gardens to underground burrows, ponds and other surprising places. We will look at how bugs use their environments to find food, shelter and places to live.

Inspired by what we discover, we will then get creative and design our own mainature bug worlds. Using tunnel books, dioramas and creative materials, you will build a tiny habitat complete with the bugs and features you might find there.

By the end of the workshop, you will have your own unique bug world to take home-and a new appreciation for the fascinating miniature environments all around us!
